Pricing

One flat price. Every Jira user included.

Per-seat pricing punishes you for adding the people who most need to see the truth. We charge a flat fee and include every Jira user — engineering, design, ops, leadership. The bill is the same in January and in October.

Figure in millions of GBP (£) (so 10 means £10M, 1.5 means £1.5M). Leave empty to use the industry baseline.

At 60 production staff, an agency typically generates £7.0M–£9.0M/year. Industry baseline.

Across ~10 active accounts · ~£797K/year per client · 3-year median tenure.

At your size, Saldo’s annual cost is roughly 15% of the realistic first-year recovery estimate. Looked at against your client portfolio’s 3-year LTV, the same fee is closer to 0.1% — the longer game most CFOs find more sobering, because silent margin compression is the quiet way an account walks away the year after.

Revenue baseline. Production staff (~65% of headcount) × 30 billable hours/week × 46 working weeks × £130£167/hour blended rate. Sourced from Promethean Research 2026 State of Digital Services: Digital Agency Industry Research (anchored at $175–$225/hour, converted to GBP at HMRC May 2026 spot rates). Range, not a single point — rates and production ratios vary by region and service mix.

Project waste benchmark. Approximately one in ten of every £1 invested in projects is wasted due to poor performance. Source: Project Management Institute, Pulse of the Profession— 9.9% in the 2018 edition, 11.4% in 2020, 9.4% in 2021. Later editions (2024 onwards) cover related governance and business-acumen benchmarks but do not republish this single headline figure. The recovery range below is the share of that pool Saldo’s analysis layer addresses.

Recovery range (1–3%). Calibrated against Saldo’s five categories of analysis: pre-sold contract tracking, pro-rated overhead allocation, three project types, role-mismatch detection, and manager-view-driven decisions. Conservative (1%) and realistic (2%) are modelled estimates that assume the agency acts on what Saldo surfaces; an agency that does not act on the data recovers nothing, regardless of which tool produced it. The 3% reference point is the measured outcome at the founding 120-person digital agency where Saldo’s founder deployed it internally during his time as CTO (two years in production). Your numbers will differ.

Client portfolio LTV. The right-hand tile is the agency’s annual revenue multiplied by a 3-year median client tenure. We use 3 years as a deliberately conservative anchor: the ANA / 4A’s 2025 client-agency tenure study reports a 3.7-year average for media-only relationships and 7.3 years for full-service integrated agencies, and Practiq’s 2026 boutique-agency benchmark places the median at 3–5 years. Active client accounts are estimated at one per 6 production staff — Saldo’s own heuristic, calibrated against Sakas & Company’s recommended portfolio size of 10–20 active accounts for a mid-market digital shop, which lines up with our ratio across 60–120 production staff. LTV is a frame, not a forecast: it is the figure most CFOs track intuitively as “what is at stake if all of this stops working”, and it is the right denominator for comparing a tooling line against a multi-year revenue commitment.

Currency conversion. Saldo is billed in GBP (£2,499/month flat). Other currencies on this calculator are spot-converted at the HMRC May 2026 published monthly rates: 1 GBP = $1.3502 USD, 1.1575 EUR, A$1.8879 AUD. Your bank’s settlement rate on invoice day will differ by ±2–3%; the ROI ratio is invariant under that drift.

Saldo is a layer on top of Jira, not a replacement for anything you already use. We read worklogs from native Jira time-tracking, from any Marketplace time-tracker, or from a mix — whichever your team is on today, the trial works the same way. Below 20 staff with uniform projects and a narrow senior–junior rate gap, native Jira worklogs already answer the questions a financial layer is meant to answer; that is the right place to be. From 20–30 staff onwards, with mixed Dev / Support / Internal work and overhead that no longer rounds to zero, the same worklogs need a different shape of analysis — and that is the shape Saldo earns its keep providing.

The landscape

Where Saldo fits in the Jira financials picture.

Saldo is not a financial plugin and not a PSA replacement. It is a separate analysis layer that sits on top of whatever you are already doing for time tracking — and adds the five things the rest of the landscape does not.

Saldo is not the cheapest option. It earns its keep when overhead distortion, three project types, role-mismatch leaks or PM surveillance concerns matter. Below 20 staff with a uniform project structure, native Jira worklogs and a light month-end roll-up are usually enough. From 20–30 staff onwards, with mixed Dev / Support / Internal work, the five categories pay back faster than the subscription costs — and the LTV maths against your client portfolio start to make the subscription line look like rounding error.

Delivery

How Saldo is delivered.

  • SAML / SSO integration
  • Custom data retention and audit-log configuration
  • IT-compliance review with your security team
  • Dedicated implementation and success contact
  • Priority SLA on response and uptime
  • Setup in 4–6 weeks from contract signature
