Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Saldo website (saldo.team) and the Saldo software service (the “Service”), provided by Franchise Family Ltd (trading as Saldo), Company No. 17179848, registered in England and Wales, registered office: Stoney Works, 8 Stoney Lane, London SE19 3BD.

The agreement

Your use of the Service is governed by these Terms together with the order form or plan confirmation we send you by email. If there is a conflict, the order form takes precedence.

Subscriptions

Saldo is sold as a monthly or annual subscription. Standard tier is £2,499 per month flat or £23,990 per year (saving £6,000). Enterprise tier starts at £5,999 per month and is priced per agreement. All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). There is no self-service trial; pre-purchase evaluation happens through a demo run by us on the prospect’s live Jira instance, and a subscription begins only after an explicit order form is signed.

Acceptable use

You must not (a) reverse-engineer the Service, (b) use it to process personal data you do not have a lawful basis for, (c) attempt to circumvent rate limits or security controls, (d) resell access without a written reseller agreement.

Customer data

You retain all rights to your data. We process it only to provide the Service and under the Data Processing Agreement. Within 30 days of termination we will, on your written request, return or delete all customer data we hold.

Availability

We target 99.9% monthly uptime on the Standard tier. Enterprise tier customers receive a signed SLA with uptime credits. Scheduled maintenance is announced at least 48 hours in advance and is excluded from the calculation.

Fees and billing

Fees are billed in advance, monthly or annually, in GBP. Customers paying with a card denominated in EUR, USD, AUD or another currency are charged the GBP amount and their card issuer applies its own conversion at the daily rate. By agreement on Enterprise contracts, invoicing in EUR or USD via bank transfer is also available. We accept card payments via Stripe and bank transfer for annual contracts. Late payments accrue interest at 4% above the Bank of England base rate.

Term and termination

Either party may terminate at the end of the current billing period with 30 days’ notice. We may suspend the Service immediately for non-payment after 14 days’ notice, or for serious breach of these terms. On termination we stop billing immediately; pre-paid annual fees are not refundable except where required by law.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, personal injury or anything that cannot be limited under English law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
